Scott founded Tactus in 2014 and has worked in the IT industry for 23 years having successfully created, funded and managed a number of new businesses in the Technology sector.
His knowledge and insight into technology products and future trends has been a key driver in guiding the Tactus Group into a global player. He has long standing relationships with many of the biggest retailers in Europe whilst his relationships in Asia have ensured consistency of high quality product manufacturing and supply at competitive prices. He is seen as a key player in the sector by global technology organisations such as Microsoft and Intel and has built an exceptional board and industry leading senior management team over the last 7 years.
Rich is an experienced CFO and ACA qualified accountant, having managed specialist financial recruiter Axon Moore through a significant period of change and growth with Chairman, David Moore, before joining Tactus in 2019.
Rich has overall responsibility for the finance and operations functions at Tactus, with a strategic focus on organic and acquisitive growth, as well as oversight of core reporting, control and stakeholder management.
He previously spent 10 years with PwC advising fast growth SMEs and PLCs and undertook a secondment within the Co-operative Group’s
Alec’s primary responsibility is in management of the large and complex supply chain in China, ultimately ensuring supply of high quality products to Tactus customers. In addition, Alec uses his wealth of online experience to lead the Tactus D2C offerings.
Rich has over 15 years’ experience in devices sales, starting his career in the incredibly successful Acer team, who increased sales in the UK from £80m to £278m in 3 years.
He then went on to hold senior roles at Lenovo, Nokia, Dell, TalkTalk and Candy Hoover, and has an unrivalled knowledge of the sector, particularly in the retail space.
Rich joined Tactus in 2020 and has been instrumental in devising and implementing the sales strategy for the organisation.
Gav has over 10 years experience in both industry and practice advising businesses on buying and selling companies.
A chartered accountant by background, Gav has worked at the likes of EY and KPMG as well as several private and PE backed technology companies.
Gav leads on the Tactus M&A strategy and execution of acquisition opportunities.
Anne-Marie is a qualified solicitor, training at DWF and qualifying in to the Commercial team before joining the Legal team at SGS, a market leading testing, certification and inspection company. She subsequently joined Gazprom Energy, the UK’s largest B2B energy supplier, and from 2018 led the legal function across the UK, Netherlands and France.
Anne-Marie’s areas of specialism are commercial law, intellectual property, data protection, compliance and corporate governance. She is also currently studying to qualify for Chartered Status of the Corporate Governance Institute.
David is an experienced entrepreneur and investor with more than 25 years in finance recruitment. He is the executive chairman and co-founder of Axon Moore Group, an award-winning recruitment business.
He has been investing in businesses for more than two decades and was a founding investor in THG, which recently completed a £5.4bn IPO.
He sits on the board of Manchester-based charity The Message Trust, ‘Best not-for-profit organisation to work for’ in the 2018 Sunday Times list.
Mike is a successful investor, business leader and entrepreneur with more than 20 years’ experience in the financial sector. He was the co-founder and former CEO of Praetura Group, which launched in 2011 before founding Arete in 2020. His early career was spent with PwC as a chartered accountant before joining GCA Altium, where he was a managing director for 10 years.
Alongside his role at Arete, Mike is a trusted advisor and non-executive chairman to five businesses, including Sorted Group and Inspired Energy plc, and a board member at several others, including Peak AI and SysGroup plc.
Karen has over 21 years post qualification experience in corporate and commercial law gained through roles she has undertaken in both private practice and industry. Karen has worked for some well-known law firms, Andersen Legal and DLA Piper LLP and was Director of Legal Services for the B2B and Network divisions of TalkTalk Group plc for 8.5 years.
At Tactus Karen has led on and completed multiple high-value, complex commercial contracts in the UK, Europe and the US and has initiated and managed a global trademark registration programme.
Alongside these roles, Karen is a member of the Institute of Legal Finance & Management and is a trustee and director of the Warrington Wolves Charitable Foundation.
